After great personal problems, I decided not to attend my maths exam. There was little point, it was only going to save face with the maths department anyway. I shall receive a "Failed Absent" for maths. I will be doing the same for ELEC170.
 
I don't give a rat's arse anymore. I ave up.
 
They have not only failed to inspire me to learn, they have inspired me to not learn. For this reason, I shall be recommending to all against attending Macquarie University for an engineering degree. It's a shit department with a few diamonds of Professors in the rough. I say this regardless of the achievements cited in their marketing. It's marketing anyway, so you know it's bullshit right off the bat.
 
Instead, I shall be attending COMP units to raise my GPA and then I'm getting out of there and going somewhere reputable like USyd or UNSW. I feel bad because my computing professor has spent time with me discussing what's going on and I feel like I'm letting him down. At the same time though, I chose MQ because it had a unique degree. If I'm not going to do that, I may as well go elsewhere.
 
At least I can say I didn't attend UTS.
